Magnolia — Hand-Painted Kitchen & Dining Room Mural

By Karolina Krzynowek | Fito Design Atelier

Project overview: Magnolia brings botanical painting into a kitchen and dining space. Plum, rose, and ivory flowers unfold across two gold-bordered wall panels, framing an ornate cream fireplace. Small painted birds add movement above the branches, while generous areas of pale wall keep the composition open.

My role and experience: As the artist and designer, I painted the original Magnolia mural, shaping the composition around the fireplace, gold-bordered panels, and room character. My botanical painting and interior design experience creates thoughtful, distinctive spaces. I guide each project with care, turning ideas into a beautiful, personal, and complete environment.

Designer with the client over the magnolia drawing

Your Magnolia Mural Begins with a Conversation

A bespoke wall painting starts with your ideas and the character of your home. Karolina presents a magnolia pencil drawing and colour palette, inviting you to explore the flowers, composition, and scale together before the design is agreed upon for your kitchen wall.

This collaborative approach gives you a clear understanding of the proposed artwork and an opportunity to shape its direction. From delicate buds to expressive plum blossoms, each element is considered in relation to your room, furnishings and personal taste.

Mahnolia mural, a room in bloom

Magnolia brings the expressive character of an original painting into an everyday kitchen and dining space. Branches unfold across two gold-bordered wall panels, carrying flowers in deep plum, rose and ivory. Small painted birds introduce movement above the blooms. Between the panels, an ornate cream fireplace remains the architectural centre of the room.

The composition gives the walls a distinct identity while leaving space for the room to breathe. Pale backgrounds, open branches and the rhythm of individual petals allow the painting to sit alongside the existing mouldings, furnishings and decorative details.
